Today Jibbity said to me, "Mom was the last time you did your blog really clear back on my birthday, 'cause I really like reading it, and it has been the same for a really long time."

Hmmmmm...this is suppose to be my journal...

I AM A SLACKER...but am determined to get my act together! (fingers crossed)

SOOOOO... what's new?????

This little man LOVED his birthday cake...how did one year fly by already??? He is soooo much fun!

Went to Idaho and saw this for the first time.......still doesn't seem real, miss my dad and think about him everyday!

My little Ashie started dance....she is a nut!!! Cute little thing, but PURE MISCHIEF!!!

*did a major move with the two oldest girls to a new room downstairs

*dealing with a taller than me now thirteen year old son

*trying to keep my girls from growing up

*chasing an adorable one year old

*had a funeral around the toilet bowl for Gil the goldfish(dang thing lasted well over two years)

*trying to keep ahead of laundry...hahahahahaha

*wishing I didn't need sleep

*got through 5 of the 7 birthdays in this house...last two are this week and mid February...then done with them again til mid October.

*got through Christmas...got the most heartfelt gift ever...will do a post on that next.

*LOVING being a mom!!

NUMBER 1 Lil' Squishy Face!!!

Happy 1st Birthday my beautiful lil' Squishy face!!!
You started out in a very different way than all your sisters and brother...c-section, and with fluid in your lungs. You scared us for a while, then decided not to re-gain your birth weight dropping down to 5 lbs 11 oz. At 6 weeks you were still not back up to your 7 lbs 3 oz birth weight and diagnosed "failure to thrive". A mighty miracle happened that weekend and you gained many ounces keeping you out of the hospital. Since those scary first few weeks you have grown like a weed and brought soooo much joy into this crazy family.

Here you are a big 1 year old, yes it brings tears of joy and sadness...I want you to stay little forever, but you are so much fun to watch grow!!! You are walking all over the place, you LOVE to unroll the toilet paper, you LOVE french fries, and bananas. Your big brother and sisters can make you laugh like crazy. YOU are loved beyond any amount you can imagine....to the moon and back a million times and more!!!

....In love with my children!! They may drive me crazy sometimes, and our small house may seem like it is going to explode, and I may get very frustrated and grumpy, but they are amazing!!!!!

.... Loving having 2 handsome boys....twelve years separate these two, but they are so much fun!!

....Amazed at how much these two beautiful young ladies are growing up!!! They each have their own unique and crazy personality. Missing Ashie in the "sisters" picture, she was too busy swinging, and being a nut to join them! I do have some pretty hilarious pics of her though, I will post another time, Ashie is my little buddy while the other kiddos are at school... she is busy, funny, and talks non stop!! I LOVE IT!!

....sad to see how fast my little squishy face is growing up. He brings a whole lot of happiness into our home, and he is so blasted cute!!

Things have been tough, hectic, and busy the last few months! I miss blogging! :(

Saying goodbye....

My Dad passed away 1 week ago today...I have no idea how a week has gone by already, I feel like I am swimming in mud. I am so sad, but so grateful for the gospel. I am being totally selfish right now though, and wish he were still here. Too many emotions right now. I love you dad and miss you sooo much! Goodbye for now.....
