Extreme Makeover...Me Edition!!!

Here it is the first week of Extreme Makeover...Me edition. Amber is hosting this awesome place where we can get together and share our "makeover" goals, frustrations, success, and everything in between. A big support group...how AWESOME!!! Every Wednesday, you can go over and link up. So come join in!

My goals are many! Eat healthier, exercise, cut down, and on and on! I have been dieting for ten and a half weeks, and have done quite well. I'll post my weight loss sometime soon. For now I am struggling a bit, I tend to want to eat when I am down and there has been a lot of stress lately. Things are getting better though. The sunshine is a big motivator for me, and it is hiding right now. But, I know it will be back!

Today's question: Do you have any low calorie snacks that you'd like to share?

I heart popcorn, and pretzels. I know, not fruit or veggies, but salty which is what I crave the most! If I write down my meal plan for the day the night before that helps too!! I don't stray(usually)! And I do eat fruit and vegetables...but I don't always love them.

Hope everyones week was a good one! Thanks again Amber!!!:-)

Sometimes I plan out my evening if I know what I am having for dinner. That helps me to know what I can and cant have for a snack, if wanted.

This is great! I am excited to get going!

Not very low fat I guess but filling....almonds. You can buy them in a 100 calorie snack pack. Tasty!!

It's okay - I'll be your sunshine! I didn't know you wrote out a meal plan at night - good idea!

I'm noticing a theme with all of us popcorn lovers! Kettle corn..mmmmmmmmmm....

I am the same way about the sunshine. If it's gone too long, I start to get depressed.

So glad to have you in this!

One of my favorite snacks is almonds. They are high in protein and filling, a win win. I keep a container in the car so when I'm running, who am I kidding when am I not running, I can reach for that and avoid McDonalds drive through~love those fries!

When I need something more I grab a handful of dark chocolate chips and mix the two. It cures the sweet tooth and it's really not that bad for you.

Way to go with the dedication, eating healthy is just so darned tough!

Hi Tanielle ;)

I love popcorn with a little salt, no butter. I know boring but it's low calorie and yummy.

I double heart popcorn!! It's hands down my favorite snack. When on WW, I get the 94% FF microwave kind, which curbs my snack cravings. I second on eating out when stressed!! It's not good.

Obviously, I'm a little behind on my blog reading! Sorry for bombarding you with comments this evening. Hope you have a great rest of your week!
