MOD PODGE MANIA!!!!

So, super X(Xazmin) is having a Mod Podge Party today over on her blog This is the Year. I had never used the stuff until(oh wait once in a super saturday project...I forgot!)...but for real not until Xazmin started talking it up so much! I asked Urban Hunter/Hunter Dan to pick me up some of that there mod podge while he was at Wal-mart, and he actually did. Now I'm thinking of the many things I can use this on!
???????

My first ever project was this large letter "M". My hubby is a big time hunter/outdoorsmen, and gradually I'm changing my living room to more of a rustic outdoors theme. ( Remember the trophy buck from a previous post, it's not going in my bedroom!) I already have it filled with alpine trees, so the change is starting to take place. I took my ivory letter "M", and covered it in this camo fabric, when it dried...I cut the scrap fabric off, and then sanded the edges. The ivory still showing on the sides. The hubby actually thought this was pretty cool...that is amazing!!!!(he gets a little tired of all the craft projects I do...or maybe he's just jealous)Who knows!
I thought that turned out good... I decided to do an old 8x10 frame I had, just for the heck of it, and because it really is fun to peel the mod podge off your fingers! I used the same fabric and....

...this is how it turned out! Fun stuff! So that's when a few days later I decided to try the Easter eggs, you can see them here.

I am excited to share more of the projects lurking around in my head. If you have any mod podge ideas or projects you've done, head on over to Xazmin's and link up.

Have a WoNdErFuL day everyone!!! Hey I almost have 100 followers, thanks so much!!!! I ♥ all my bloggy friends!!!!

I love the detail of the M and frame that you can still see through the fabric!

Your braver than I am. The Hubby's deer are hanging at his cousins until we move and he gets his man cave!

Haha! I grew up in a hunting family. My dad actually owns a videography business and makes hunting videos. And he makes turkey calls. My parent's living room is all stuffed turkeys and deer heads. They actually made their living room appear to look like a log cabin from the inside by putting up fake logs and actually putting that chinking stuff between them. I should post some pictures :-) I killed my first deer when I was 11. Make sure he includes your daughters as much as your son!

Hi there! What great projects! I love that you used things around your house and redid them! I'm sure I have all sorts of things lying around here that could be transformed!

Great job!

Very cool, I LOVE the M, where did you find it (before you "fixed" it LOL)?

Be careful with that woodsy makeover lol. I did the same thing and before long you wonder where YOUR identity has gone. You will look around and see your husbands taste all over your walls and pretty soon you will want to scream!

Wow - that's awesome.
I've been looking foward to today.
Great frame. You're a hot mama!

Tanielle, so creative and out of the box of what I might try! I never would have thought of doing a frame with all the divets, but you made this look doable. Love the M! So glad you're "glued" to this stuff now! ;)

I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING I DID IN MY LIVING ROOM(I KNOW I HAVE A PIC OF IT SOMEWHERE BUT WILL HAVE TO SEARCH FOR IT.) WE HAVE 2 BUCKS IN THE LIVING ROOM AND WITH MY CRICUT MACHINE, I CUT OUT VINUL AND WROTE "THE BUCK STOPS HERE." AND THAT WENT BETWEEN THE 2 DEER!
