Gettin' some projects done!!

I feel like I am getting into that "nesting" thing a bit early. Maybe it is because of the time of year the baby is due, or just the excitement, but I got motivated the other day, and decided I wanted to put together some kind of blanket for the little munchkin that will be arriving in December. I love chenille, and decided I wanted it to have some on the front, and be backed with it also. I wanted it to be kind of outdoors-ish, so I found this cabin, fishing fabric that I loved the colors of, and found coordinating ones to match. It turned out pretty cute. (The colors on the photos don't do the fabric justice, especially on the burp rags!)
I had plenty of fabric left over so I made some burp rags too. Around fifteen I think, my babies are big time spitters!!!
Had to make some camo ones of course.

Also, I bought some of the cloth diapers, and added some fabric on some, and some ribbon and rick rack on the others. We(Xazmin and I) actually make these for our boutiques, but they aren't on the website yet. Speaking of Ribbon Blossoms, now that I am feeling a bit better, we will be adding to and updating it soon. Watch for a fabulous giveaway we will be announcing!!!!

Anyway, just thought I'd share, I am not much of a seamstress, but I do enjoy playing a little!:-) Don't look closely!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday! Can't wait for the big SYTYCD(So You Think You Can Dance) tonight!!! Xazmin and I are partying for the show!!! Who is everyone's favorite to win?

SO excited for the show, but SO sad that no one is around for me to watch it with. I just might call my sis-in-law and see if she wants to come watch with me. :)

I love all your cute creations!!!

Such cute, boyish (can you use those two terms together?) colors on the blanket. Good for you to get so much done! Your due date will be here before you know it and so will Christmas! Lots of things to do for both occasions!

Don't hate me but I haven't been following SYTYCD this year! I'm not home on Wednesday nights!
Enjoy your party!

I can't believe you're crafting! If MiMi is The Cursing Crafter, are you The Barfing Crafter...?

They are darling. I love chenille too.

Hope you don't mind I drop in on your blog from time to time. Very cute stuff. I have done this before but have always thought I needed perfect squares. I like the idea of different shaped squares and rectangles! VERY CUTE! I am having a boy in December so thanks for the inspiration!
