Totally Thankful Thursday....

What an unrestful night....Ashie went to bed at 8:30, but at 11:00 (when I was actually heading to bed)she woke up crying. Her little voice was scratchy and I could tell she wasn't feeling well. I gave her some tylenol, rocked her for a few minutes, and she fell back asleep. I put her back in bed and crawled in mine...sleep at last....NOPE, she woke up about ten minutes later sobbing. She was so restless, she wouldn't snuggle, or let me rock her, yet she cried when I put her down. Then it was like a miracle....that tylenol kicked in and she was WIRED!!!! She finally fell back asleep at three-thirty this morning! The alarm went off way to early at six, and now it's 7:30 and I am ready for a nap!!! To top it off...she's AWAKE, and happy as a clam. I guess she is feeling better! On that note, on to my Totally Thankful Thursday...

P.S. there is snow on the ground this morning...I'm not so thankful about that.:-) But it's Spring so I know it will melt quickly...it's chilly though, a big 34 degrees!

1. Bug, He is so cool.(little stinker wrote this while I was changing Ashie's buns.)

2. Childrens books, I think I love to read them as much as the kiddos love to hear them. I heart Hooper Humperdink...Not Him!

3. The start to a new day...I have a lot to get done for the boutique on Saturday! Also, Bug has business day at school tomorrow, and we're busy making these...

4. The trees are starting to bud, I love how the huge Maple tree in the back yard starts off with bright apple green tiny flowers, before the big gorgeous leaves grow!!! So beautiful!

5. Thankful that Lexlee didn't kill all three fish yesterday...like I thought she had. ( I'll tell that story tomorrow maybe)
I gotta get busy now! ....oooh..coming up later I was tagged by Xazmin with the prom picture tag...I'll be posting it soon, and get ready you lucky ladies who I tag! HEHEHE

What a good list! I hope she gets to feeling better. Somehow, when we stop and actually make that list, the world does look brighter does it not?

Sorry about your night! I can never get back to sleep if one of mine is the bed; they wiggle too much!

have a great day and hopefully a nap!

What is it right now. It just seems that everyone has sick children right now. Why?? I really like your bags. They are really awesome. I hope you get some rest. Snow what?? YUCK>>>

I don't like those kind of nights. For baby's sake AND for mama's sake! Saylor didn't get a nap yesterday, so she fell asleep in the car when we had to run an errand. It was 7:45. Tahner says, "Just let her sleep. I'll get up with her in the night"......

.....uhhhhh, huhhh.

Ya right. I was the one up with her in the night. Eventually she did go back to sleep and thankfully wasn't up forever, but still. It's the principle, Mr. :)

Seems to be one sick on then the next. Glad she's feeling better today [and hoping you get a perfect night's sleep tonight].

oh I hate nights like that. Feel so bad when the kiddos are miserable and then you feel bad for yourself cause you are missing out on sleep!

I love children's books too! Much more fun than the boring ones for adults...

Hooper Humperdink...Not Him! may be the best book EVER. It is such a family classic, did you know that nobody else knows that one!? It's nonsense. haha. Sorry I couldn't be more help with the font thing yesterday but I had fun visiting you and my Wendy's was delicious! =)

Oh, poor punkin! (And Ashie too!) ;-) Squeeze in a quick nap if you can! I'm a big fan of the 20 minute catnap on the couch, using earplugs and using Babysitting TV for that time...

Why is it that kids always get sick in the middle of the night? Hope you get some shut eye and the little one gets better. can't wait to hear about the fish...I can only imagine!

I hope Ashie is feeling better. It's hard to function when you don't get enough sleep!

I hope your day went well!

Wow, great business products! Wanna come over to my house and 'mom' my boys? ;o)

Thanks for dropping my blog also. I don't think it rubs off on ya but if you start acting really weird and get a craving for red beer, it will pass, it's just a little bit of me. Bwahahaha!

I always enjoy your Thankful Thursday posts. It is so nice to pause for a moment and think about blessings that so often in the rush of our day we don't notice or think about.

As usual your list makes me find so many things in my life to be thankful for. I have NOTHING to grumble about!

Hope little Ashie feels better and she doesn't share!
