Extreme Makeover-Me Edition!!!

If you are looking for some gettin' healthy and feelin' good support...head on over to Amber's for Extreme Makeover Me Edition!

It has been a pretty good week!!! I am actually down a couple more pounds which is AWESOME!!!! I just need to take more "me" time to exercise! It drives me crazy when my hubby comes and watches T.V. with me at night after the kiddos have gone to bed... with his HUGE symphony bar!! What's up with that? Or brings in the EXTRA large Costco bag of peanut M&M's. But that's o.k.!!! If I am craving something like that...I just eat it! Just kiddin'. Seriously popcorn gets me through!!!

This week's question: What are some methods you use to stave off temptation and/or keep from overeating??

Like I mentioned last week if I have a meal plan for the day including snacks. That is very helpful. I am a list person(obsessive list person) so I stick to my lists.-usually- Also water, water, and more water!!! I LOVE milk, but if I avoid it with my dinner, and drink lots of water I don't overeat. It is hard!! But I am enjoying all this support!!!!

Have a great day!

So true, if I plan meals down the the snack that works for me too. And of course I love lists...what would I do without them?

:) i am a HUGE water fan and so is my son (i always have been) :) i dont drink "pop" i barely ever drink juice the 2 grown men in my house are the ones who have probs with the water drinking! The whole "no taste/flavour" thing annoys me with them i swear! lol as for excersice it never use to be part of my life :) but now adays i am addicted to the WiiFit, Turbo Jam and TaeBo! I dont feel good unless i have gotten my exsercise in! If anything im kinda cranky if i dont work out! Im on the road to being healthier inside and out this yr i have lost 70 pounds and im looking to loose more ive always struggled with my weight but ive gotten control of it now and im kickin butt!

Woo-hoo, congrats on the weight loss! I, too, love water and am trying to remember to drink even more. What is with men who can eat whatever they want and not gain an ounce?! :)

I'm a list person too. It helps me feel in control of my day if I have a list...it's something to keep me on track. Water is also a great tip! A couple of pounds is AWESOME! Congrats!!

OOOHHH!!! Water has been so hard for me this week!! I was FORCING it down all last week though...ugh! Utah is SO dry!!! Anyway...I need routine. I am sure that is not something you have in your life...with 4 kids you must be everywhere all the time...anyway - I do much better with how much i eat while I'm at work - weekends are SO HARD for me...so maybe try planning a certina time to work out. "i will work out from 3-30 pm!" that helps me. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Water with Zip Fizz is my staple and I just don't buy the junk anymore. 100 calorie packs for the girls lunches is the worst you'll find here but I buy the ones I don't like! If I have a craving I give in, once in a while, it prevents me from indulging! My downfall is ice cream!

Love the new pictures of the kids! They are so super-cute!

Girlfriend...Awesome job. I'm so glad you didn't label that picture! I obviously would have been the one on the right :)

Have a fabulous week! I want to be just like you :)

Congrats on the loss! And, holy self control...do you EVER get tempted with those M & M's?? Actually, popcorn gets me through my snack fix, too, but I still would love to be able to reach into that big bag of chocolatey goodness. I like to see that you are a planner, too, and that you plan out your meals. It's proven that certainly does work!!

Congrats on the weight loss!

My hubby does the SAME thing! As he *literally* walks into the room with a bag full of candy. NO JOKE!

We can doooooooooo it! :)
