Extreme Makeover- Me Edition

Here it is time for Extreme Makeover-Me Edition!! Thanks so much Amber, love that we can have this support! To join in, and have some awesome friends go visit Amber and link up. Also, grab her new button!

This week has been....not so good! After being quite strict for 12 weeks, I let go a little. Shame on me! I had a spicy chicken sandwich yesterday from McDonalds...love those(thanks Xazmin!) I've had some pizza, chips, and some of the best, and my most favorite Easter candy...Reese's eggs. Not all in one day mind you, but over the last five days or so.

Now to get back on track!!!!

In those first 12 weeks I lost an amazing(at least to me)...34 pounds!!!

I'm certainly not going to stop, but I have had a bit of a weakness the past few days, and although I'm only up 1 pound, I feel bad! I try to be positive, but sometimes it's so easy to get down on myself! This weight loss stuff can be sooo frustrating, and hard, especially when your hubby has slimmed down without trying. Then everyone comments on his success, and asks what he's been doing, he says "I haven't been doing anything." But ME on the other hand have been eating 1200 or less calories(a day) for 12 weeks!!!! ARGGG! I love the words Amber has on the top of her post. I need to print them up and put them somewhere I can read everyday! Just for that extra motivational help I need. That was a downer...sorry!:-)

I

heart

to......

(trying to convince myself):-)

This weeks question....

How are you keeping track of your achievements. How do you reward yourself when you acheive a goal?

I keep a diet journal. I record my weight, the calories I ate the day before, (I don't write down what I eat, I just keep track of the calories), and my feelings, whether I'm frustrated, proud, down, or excited. I like to read back through it!
As far as a reward....new cute clothes, and shoes,,,soon I hope!:-)
Hope everyone has a healthy week! I'll do better I promise! Thanks for your support, I love it!

Wow, 34 pounds IS amazing, good for you!!! It sounds like you're on a great track, and this last week was a little pebble in the road. I don't believe in deprivation anyway. Great job!!!

You are doing a wonderful job. Keep it up. I reward myself with different things. Maybe a sweet snack or a good book.

Hang in there Tanielle! Remember men lose weight more easily than we do. More muscle mass or something like that. My hubby does the same thing without even trying. Don't let it get you down. Get right back on the wagon and it will work. 34 lbs. is GREAT!!! That's an amazing amount of weight to loose. You should be so proud of yourself!! That's nothing to shake a stick at.

You're doing great!! Keep plugging away.

Much love from NJ,
Sue

Wow, you're doing amazingly well!
Don't beat yourself up over eating a few "non diet approved" foods if you try to avoid them you'll just want them more.

Keep up the great work!

Hi Tanielle!
Good for you for losing so much weight so far! That is so great!!! It's so unfair how men can lose weight without even trying! My husband gave up coke and switched to Diet Coke a few years ago and lost 40 pounds. Crazy!!!

What a good system you have for keeping track of your calorie intake. I need to write it all down. That would probably help alot!

Good luck this week!

XOXO

WOW! 34 pounds in 12 weeks is amazing and very hard work! You deserve a week or two off before recommitting again! It will probably also fool your body and it won't know what hit it when you start back hard again.

Keep up the great work!

Tanielle...

Speaking from experience (and that's what old folks do) give yourself lots of breaks...don't worry about a slip up once in a while. 35 lbs is AMAZING, and such hard work.

Don't let dieting make your life miserable...life is too short!

Go get yourself some new shoes!! That cures all!
:D

Hello! 34 Lbs. Is Amazing...I have been trying to lose weight but I just have no idea really what I am doing. So since you love me sooo much you should e-mail me and tell me what your diet has been and what exercise you have been doing. It would help me so much and I think I need to get on this Extreme Makeover Me Edition...Sounds like great motivation and support :) So e-mail if you can! Thank you soo much! Love you. Kylee

Amazing, Tanielle! A bad week here and there is OK...you still have it in your sights and that's awesome! It does suck that men tend to do "nothing" and the pounds melt off. I like that you keep a journal. This is what I do also (when I actually do it).

I'm realizing that I should probably be giving MYSELF this pep talk! :)

34 pounds is AWESOME!! And seriously, I didn't think of this post as a debbi downer. It's the facts. We all have ups & downs! Like I keep telling myself, tomorrow is a brand new day!

I love Xazmin's comment about looking so HOT at the NKOTB concert that they're going to bring you guys on stage. :)

Also, you talking about your husband & yourself reminded me of those Slimquik commercials, where the hubby gets all slim, and the wife loses it all in her tatas. And when she dumps her water in the dog's bowl, he drinks it, then shrinks. Lol.

It's the SAME way with my hubby & I. Freaking sexist pigs. :)
