Mod Podge Mania!!!! and a quick Totally Thankful Thursday

Here it is... the second Mod Podge Mania over at my crazy(amazing) friend Xazmin's Blog... This is the Year. Go over and check out some awesome projects, and if you have any to share link up...too much fun!!!
So...Bug has this little computer desk in his room...
I thought it was boring, and getting a little beat up, what could I do? He has lots of sports stuff in his decor, but also some really cool maps(that he loves) on his walls. I decided to go with the "map" idea. I went and bought a five dollar map at the map store, used a little Mod Podge, and this is what it looks like now.....
He loves this!!! I am actually a pretty "cool" mom for this project. He just wanted the (fake) wood look still, so I didn't paint the rest of the desk, just left it. It looks great, and so easy and fun!
Michelle(the niece visiting, and still sleeping... that's why I'm sneaking in this quick post)and I are doing some of the blocks that Xazmin showed last month, and that she's giving away for her 100th post giveaway. We'll link up later with those....if they turn out!:-)

I really like what you did! Especially since it was for a boy! The Mod Podge projects tend to lean towards girlie. Love this!

Way, way, WAY cool! You'd have to actually be good at mod podging to pull this off though... haha! I love stuff with maps. So classy and educational! Just saved these pictures in my "eye candy" folder on my computer ;-)

Some day I vow to Mod Podge...some day. The stuff looks so cool. But for now my crafting is focused on the mounds of pictures I have yet to scrapbook. I have seriously never put a single picture in a scrapbook/photo album since my wedding almost 9 years ago! Sad, sad sad!
