Since I'm AWAKE anyway...

So...here it is Saturday morning, time to sleep in...right? Nope, Ashie decided at five a.m. she was up and ready for the morning! I tried to rock her, but she just kept those big old eyes open and smiling up at me! What do you know...I guess Jibbity was ready to be awake too! So as not to wake anyone else up, we headed to the craft room. I have a couple little projects I've been wanting to try, so "I thought why not, I am awake anyway, and these two little munchkins are not going back to sleep anytime soon!"

ANYWAY...

I saw the super cute idea of these clothespin magnets over at Blue Eyed Blessings. I decided to give them a whirl. I mod podged the paper onto the clothespins then decorated them up a little. So fun! My early morning helper(Jibbity, not Ashie, she's NO help at all!)had a great time finding buttons and little accesories for the clothespins. Turned out fabulous!

I also have seen these clear marble magnets all over the blogging world, and thought they were too cute. I bought the marbles the other day, I have mod podge, and scrapbook paper...so all set! Super fun and easy, I'm anxious to try some other coordinating sets.

Now I'm tired, and ready for a little nap! Of course Bug, and Lexlee are awake now. Bug is super grumpy, his first soccer game of the Spring was scheduled for this morning at 9:30. Considering there is a few inches of brand-new, beautiful snow on the ground (and still snowing)since early this morning...there will be NO game!

After going back upstairs, I opened the doors onto the deck to see Ashie's reaction of the snow....she ran right out! No sockies, totally bare feet! She didn't like that so much! I have to admit, it was pretty funny though! After that she settled for sitting in front of the door with the other girlies and....eating the snow!

Now...I think it's time for Hunter Dan/Urban Hunter to get up and share in the fun, while I go sleep for 12 hours. What are the chances of that happening?:-)

Have a warm Saturday everyone, and enjoy a hopefully relaxing day!

Glad to know you're up less than 4 hours after leaving my house after our work session!

Love both your projects!

Also...if you'd quit saying NICE things about the snow, maybe it would quit!

I love those little clothes pins! Very cute.

I totally remember when we moved to NY from San Diego, my little one was 2 and he ate snow evertime he was near it! He ate so much that he would be FREEZING while we were outside. I had to take him back in quickly. His cheeks would be really red!

Those clothes pins are are super cute!

I loved reading about the snow...we have 2 soccer games today. They were not cancelled. We had very sunny 80 degree weather and I came home with a sunburn.

Summer has come in the south a little too early for me. I'd like just a few weeks of Spring. Please?
