We Heart Easter Festivities!!!

My niece was married yesterday afternoon, she looked absolutely stunning, and sooo happy! Congratulations to both of them! After the wedding while waiting for the reception to start, Lexlee started feeling sick to her stomach. I wasn't sure whether or not she was kind of pretending because she was bored and hungry, or really sick. We ended up leaving early to get her home, by the time we got there she was miserable and fevered. We had a very long night!!! She was still feeling terrible this morning, so she stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa, while the rest of us went to the egg hunt. Poor girl she couldn't even wear her new bunny shirt, so we just put it over the top of her for a picture. Bug and Jibbity promised to find her some eggs.

The kids were sooo excited to go to the Easter egg hunt at Xazmin's parents house!!! Her family is so sweet to us and treat us like part of their family, thanks you all!!! They went to a lot of trouble and work to put this fun time together and even fixed a yummy lunch! The kids had a ton of fun, and were soooo spoiled with all the eggs and prizes they found!

After some Motrin and rest, Lexlee was feeling a lot better, and we took some time to finally decorate eggs.

Almost done. Looking good kiddos the Easter Bunny will love hiding them for sure! We've had a fun and busy few days. Grandma and Grandpa visiting was wonderful and way too short! They headed back home a couple of hours ago, and I am already looking forward to their next visit!

Happy Easter... Bunny Shirts!!

I was visiting Kari at U create and came across the adorable idea of a darling bunny on a onesie. You can check out the instructions here for the one that is featured. So adorable!! I decided to make some for my little girlies for the Easter egg hunt they are going on tomorrow at Xazmin's parents house. They are VERY excited! I changed the bunny a bit and added a little more detail. The girls had so much fun helping Grandma and me create these.

Totally Thankful Thursday!!...and Hair-dos!!

I heart Thursdays!!! I look forward to listing the five things that pop into my head...spur of the moment!

1. Birds singing in the morning...love their happy songs, and it really is Spring!!!

2. Lexlee snuggling with me as I do this...they are out of school for a couple of days for Easter break.

3. Rain...it's raining outside this morning, I love the smell, and how everything looks so clean. PLUS...it's so nice to not wake-up to snow!!!

4. Spray paint...can't wait to finish my polka-dot flower pots for my deck, and front steps...hehehe...makes me giddy!

5. Clean clothes...I need to get on the laundry today...I have company coming tonight for the weekend!

YAY!!!! My Mom and Dad!!!! My niece is getting married, and I get to spend time with my amazing parents!!! Someday we'll live closer!

Extreme Makeover- Me Edition

This week has been....not so good! After being quite strict for 12 weeks, I let go a little. Shame on me! I had a spicy chicken sandwich yesterday from McDonalds...love those(thanks Xazmin!) I've had some pizza, chips, and some of the best, and my most favorite Easter candy...Reese's eggs. Not all in one day mind you, but over the last five days or so.

Now to get back on track!!!!

In those first 12 weeks I lost an amazing(at least to me)...34 pounds!!!

I'm certainly not going to stop, but I have had a bit of a weakness the past few days, and although I'm only up 1 pound, I feel bad! I try to be positive, but sometimes it's so easy to get down on myself! This weight loss stuff can be sooo frustrating, and hard, especially when your hubby has slimmed down without trying. Then everyone comments on his success, and asks what he's been doing, he says "I haven't been doing anything." But ME on the other hand have been eating 1200 or less calories(a day) for 12 weeks!!!! ARGGG! I love the words Amber has on the top of her post. I need to print them up and put them somewhere I can read everyday! Just for that extra motivational help I need. That was a downer...sorry!:-)

This weeks question....

How are you keeping track of your achievements. How do you reward yourself when you acheive a goal?

I keep a diet journal. I record my weight, the calories I ate the day before, (I don't write down what I eat, I just keep track of the calories), and my feelings, whether I'm frustrated, proud, down, or excited. I like to read back through it!

As far as a reward....new cute clothes, and shoes,,,soon I hope!:-)

8. Be beautifully tan all year

I have to say... I saw someone else who had gotten tagged last night, and thought to myself, "hope I don't get this one!" What do you know...I go check Heidi's blog today and she's been tagged too. I laughed thinking...haha, not me. Her picture was adorable though, such a cute momma she is. Then I read on!!!

So...here it is. Luckily I had run some errands this morning, and did have make-up on. But did not feel like washing my hair today, so I put on a hat! Also by the time I got on the computer I had changed my sweater into my disgusting, comfy, green t-shirt. Thank Heavens it wasn't yesterday! I never did get dressed or shower...gross huh?

Now I get to pass this on! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
