Hair It Is!

With three little girls there is always hair to be done... I love it. As a teenager I always hoped I'd have daughters to make pretty, and I loved fixing all my nieces hair. I always wanted the long beautiful permed hair that was" in " back in the late 80's, early 90's...but I was not that lucky. Oh don't get me wrong I could "rat" it with the best of them, and always had a perm, I just didn't have the thick beautiful locks that were in all the Rock Ballad music videos...*sigh*. WOW... hope those "big bangs" don't come back, but they were beautiful back then. I guess?

I should have realized why my hair was falling out. And those cutie Rocker boys...YUM!
Meet Jon Bonjovi... he was and still is my * boyfriend*. O.K. I am happily married, but isn't he so cute? I loved him back then and he has aged VERY well! Wow did I get off the subject!?! Back to hair... here are some styles I've done on my girls recently, it is SO fun to play with my little cuties.
Jibbity has a lot of hair but it is cut in an A-line...it's still fun, I just have to be a little more creative for up-dos, and dance recitals.

Ashie doesn't have much yet, but she's working on it.

Lexlee has a lot of hair, and it is so fun to "pin" up. She would just prefer it down now most of the time, she thinks she is getting to big. I always tell her "I had girls so I could do their hair"...

This was for "crazy hair and pajama day at school... I even got to play with Bug's hair that day. Lexlee's hair was like that in the back too, and she even won an award. That was a fun morning! I think next year they won't tell me when "crazy hair" day is!

Have a great day!!!

Friend Makin' Mondays!

Something fun...over at Kasey's , she has Friend Makin' Mondays, where you can get to know some fellow bloggers through her "tasks"...so go over and link up.

This weeks task is... 10 Favorite Things!

1. Shopping...whether it's at a thrift store, a department store, or the grocery store, I LOVE to shop...it is therapy, the only problem is...NO Money, oh well at least I can window shop. It's still fun to be out and about.

2. I love the color yellow, especially bright yellow. It is so happy and warm, and makes me smile!

3. The smell of fresh cut grass... there is nothing like a saturday in the summer of yard work , and when we sit in the swing in the backyard when we're done... I love to smell the dirt and the newly cut grass. (kind of weird huh?)

4. My Mom and Dad, (and all other extended family) They are the best parents ever! Oh I wish we lived closer!

5. Fingernail polish...in lots of wild colors. I love them for my toes, it just always makes me happy to look down and see these bright, happy toes smilin' up at me!

6. Daisies, daisies, and more daisies. I love these delicate little flowers.

7. Camping with my family in the great outdoors. I am not really someone who likes being dirty, I am pretty much a "make-up" girl all the time, but I love being out in the wilderness, where it is quiet, and being able to sit around a campfire and laugh and enjoy each others company.

8. Dr. Pepper...oh how I love thee... I don't drink it but on rare occasions anymore because I'm trying to shed pounds, but there is nothing better then a fountain D.P. with "light ice". Refreshing!

9. Sunflowers... just like daisies these bright, happy flowers make my day, I have big, huge ones in my garden. I dream of someday seeing one of those fields full of them in person.

10. My handsome husband and my beautiful children. You make my days brighter and my life so much better. I love you all to the moon a hundred times! (these are some camping pics from last summer...refer to number 7)

Be sure to check back on Friday...I have an exciting announcement to make and can't wait to tell you all!! YAY!!

Happy Big "1" Ashie!!!

Ashie... one year ago, you were the new, beautiful, little baby girl, we'd been
waiting for. Oh, how very excited we all were to finally see you.

You had a little bit of a rough start, and we were so worried about you...

but you pulled through and have been such a joy in our lives.

You had a beautiful blessing day, so tiny and pure, and your Dad was amazing with his new baby girl.

You were beautiful, and your brother and sisters absolutely adored you from the first sight.

Lexlee is like a little mother, and she is always ready to pick you up and take care of you!

Your "tough" Dad thinks you are wonderful!

Now you are a big ONE year old, 18 lbs, and so full of mischief, I love you to the moon a hundred times.

You are so busy and so... fun. Happy Birthday "little big eyes", that's what your Dad calls you.

We love you so much and are so happy you are here.XOXOXO
